The down load programs allows you to down load either
 text files (such as the answers to CSPM questions) or
 HPGL plot files via either the FILES (Transfer) portion
 of the Bulletin Board (BBS) or Internet ftp.
<p>
 It is important for you to realize that if you are on
 a DOS computer, then the filename of some of our files
 may be too long.  For example, the CSPM file named;
 CS065Apr1292A.ques will be truncated to;
 CS065APR.que on a DOS computer.  You may need to rename the 
 file after you have received it if you want to try to
 keep the name unique. If you do not rename the file,
 it may be overwritten by a subsequent downloaded file.
<p>
 The HPGL files that you receive may be very large and may
 take between one half hour and one hour to transfer at
 low baud rates!!! We strongly recommend either using 
 the internet and ftp or a 9600 baud modem if you plan
 to down load large HPGL files such as those from CSPM.
<p>
 The program allows you to transfer files from;
 CSPM,PROFILE,HORIZON,SHADOW,INMOD,COVERAGE or a
 composite CSPM file.
<p>
 After choosing the program you wish to transfer from,
 the program gives you either a set of options of the
 type of file to transfer (*.ques,*.calc,*.hpgl or other
 ASCII type data) or a list of your files.  Select the
 data type and file to be transfered.
<p>
 Next, the program will ask you if you wish to transfer
 the file via the BBS (Files-Transfer) or via ftp.  If
 you choose ftp, the program finishes and you may transfer
 the file via your ftp program.  If you chose BBS, the
 program renames the file in the form 'AAAMMMDDL' where:
 <ul>
<li>AAA = your three digit account number (ex: tas065 is 065)
<li>MMM = the month (ex: December is Dec)
<li>DD  = the day of the month
<li>L   = the file letter (A to Z999)
 </ul>
<p>
 When this is finished, quit the program and return to the
 BBS.  Your file is in the "Down_load" directory so choose
 DIRECTORIES from the BBS and SELECT the Down_load directory.
 Then choose FILES and TRANSFER from the BBS.  It will show
 you the files within the directory.  Choose your file by
 moving the cursor to the file and hitting the space bar.
 An "*" will appear in front of the file. Press ENTER. The file
 will begin to transfer using any protocol available and chosen
 by you. 
<p>
 When you finish transfering the file, please delete the file
 by selecting FILES and DELETE.  Tag the file in the same manner
 as above and press ENTER.  If you do not do this, other users
 will have access to your file.

 Finally, exit the BBS by selecting QUIT.
