The Telecommunications Engineering, Analysis, and Modeling Division
evaluates and enhances the technical performance characteristics of existing,
new and proposed individual telecommunication systems for the purpose of
improving efficiency and enhancing the technical performance of those resources.
- Areas and Activities include the following:
- Telecommunication Analysis (TA) Services;
- Radio channel engineering;
- Satellite network, propagation and performance analysis;
- Development of radio system standards;
- Information technology studies and applications;
- Performance measurements of communication protocols;
- NS/EP engineering studies and applications;
- Radio system design and performance software.
