Radio Channel Impulse Response Measurement Systems

MEASUREMENTS:

Over the course of two decades the Institute of Telecommunications Sciences (ITS) has conducted impulse response measurements at various sites using different system configurations. Most of these measurements were acquired through a cooperative research agreement with businesses in the private sector, as well as other government agencies. The following is a list of sites for which the most recent measurements were conducted.

  • Cell Site Characterization
    1. Boulder, CO, suburban, multiple channel, 1920 MHz (details)
    2. Phoenix, AZ, urban, high-rise, suburban, rural (details)
    3. Los Angeles, CA, urban, high-rise, suburban (details) (RH)
    4. Hong Kong, urban, high-rise (details) (RH)
    5. Washington State, urban, high-rise, suburban (details) (RH)
    6. Colorado, flat rural, hilly rural, urban high-rise (antenna diversity) (details) (RH)
