Other Work and Information

We have been working in these areas for some years now.  Some of the information, demonstrations, and results from previous years are available through this page.

Feel free to contact Stephen Voran at svoran@ntia.gov or (303) 497-3839 for further information.

ITS welcomes contact from those interested in collaborative audio quality research work. The Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 (FTTA), as amended, allows Federal laboratories to enter into cooperative research agreements with US private industry, universities, and other interested parties. Under this Act, a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) can be implemented that protects proprietary information, grants patent rights, and provides for user licenses to corporations, while allowing Government expertise and facilities to be applied to interests in the private sector. Collaborative work with other Federal organizations can be accomplished through inter-agency agreements.
